He is currently professor at the School of Sociology at the Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM, Chile) and a co-investigator of the SustENABLE Transformation program. He is co-founder and member of the Editorial Board of the academic journal Alternautas. His main areas of interest include: governance for sustainability, alternative economies, territories and geography of socio-environmental conflicts, and sociology of sciences.
